Aniko and Hayden’s Thoughtful and Musical Marriage
You might not think that a whirlwind romance could lead to one of the most thoughtful and detailed weddings, but Aniko and Hayden’s September 28th wedding was just that! Having only met last Halloween and gotten engaged this June, they knew they were on a tight schedule. When I first met these two lovebirds they had only been engaged for two weeks but had managed to fit in several months worth of wedding planning in that time!
These two really only needed my help lightening their load leading up to the wedding, and making sure the day itself ran as smoothly as possible. With the ceremony being at the beautiful Camp St. Malo in Allenspark and the reception at the equally stunning Taharaa Mountain Lodge in Estes Park, and lots of looky-loos leaf peeping, it was important to have someone on top of all the logistic details. Aniko and Hayden had truly taken care of everything else, including making sure two of their friends whose birthdays were that day and the next day had their own birthday cakes, and all their guests sang Happy Birthday at the reception.
The element of their big day that I loved the most was that there was always some sort of music playing. Susie Peek provided stunning strings before the ceremony and one of Hayden’s groomsmen plucked at the strings of Hayden’s guitar while patiently waiting for the talented Alyssa Wittwer to work her magic with her camera. Once we all arrived at Taharaa, Jake with Colorado Wedding Productions made all the right choices to make sure the dance floor got “crunk” (Aniko and Hayden’s words, not mine!)
